We’ve seen modding work spaces online in a variety of living spaces from kitchens and bedrooms to backyard patios Regardless of where you mod, it’s good to find your own space and escape from stressful days.
Anthony Reynolds lives in Long Beach, California. You may have seen him online as “THRASHER2″ on one of several community forums he resides at. He has a long standing reputation as the “Sweet Deals” guy who could always finds the best PC hardware deals. Hes also known for his T2 Spinner Case. When he isn’t at work or gaming, he may be testing hardware or building a PC in his “Mod Garage.” He was kind enough to give us a tour of his workspace and answer some questions.
Your wall looks like a retail store. It must be nice to just reach for a new part when needed. How did you acquire so many new parts and products?
THRASHER2: I buy in bulk, I find deals all over the internet and at Local Places Like Kmart, Wal-Mart, Target and the Computer shows.

The layout has everything one person would need. How did you plan and build your workshop?
THRASHER2: First I started with the Work benches then I added the Counter tops and installed them to the tops of the Work benches after that I added the peg boards to the walls.

I would never want to leave your workshop. How much time do you spend there?
THRASHER2: It depends to the day or the project, Lately I had no time because of the two jobs. After this weekend I will have more time to work in the Garage.

I like your Test Bench and see smaller ones spread throughout your counter space. Why so many Test Benches?
THRASHER2: Back in the HWBot days I was Benching every weekend and made it to #1 Ranked in the world (For one week) HAHA!!

What do you enjoy most about your workshop?
THRASHER2: Enjoying having supplies and not going to the store to get something I need at any time of the day.

Anything you would like to change or add?
THRASHER2: I need a bigger garage (More work place would be a Plus)

What are your custom Computer builds that transpired here?
THRASHER2: The Spinner Mod and some smaller mods for friends.
Any advice for others considering their own Modding Workshop?
THRASHER2: You should make sure you have the space to start your own Mod Garage and organize all of your gear and supplies.
