    • Mnpctech’s new 140mm fan grill has 360 degree rotating center, so you can position it however you like. The 2 piece grill is cnc milled from 3/16″ thick 6061 aluminum.
It measures 6-3/8″ x 6-3/8″ The center grill diameter is 5.5″ with 1.5″ slotted openings for plenty of airflow. Machined Bare Aluminum Finish. Black anodized finish available in September. Purchase here, 140mm fan grills

Steps to installing 140mm cooling fan and Mnpctech 140mm grill.

      Suggested tools and supplies

      1. Scotch brand Green Masking tape, or any low tack masking tape that doesn’t leave sticky residue on panel
      2. Pen or Pencil
      3. 12″ Measuring Square
      4. Dremel with 1.5″ reinforced cutting disc
      5. Jigsaw with 18 TPI or higher metal cutting blade
      6. Rounded side hand file
      7. Use Power hand drill or Drill press with 3/16″ drill bit to make mounting holes.

After taping the panel to avoid scratches, I used a 12″ measuring square to align 140mm fan grill with edge of the panel.

I traced the entire 140mm fan grill with a pen to mark the location of everything before cutting.

Using 1.5″ cutting disc/wheel to make initial cut in the 140mm circle before I can use a jigsaw

Use 3/16 drill bit for drilling mounting holes for included screws and you’re finished!

      Admire your work!

I use slipperyskip’s ‘multiple-small-Dremel-cuts’ method to make my fan holes :P

Great job – the new grills look FANTASTIC.
